they gain skills and knowledge. Each lesson in Keystones for
Reading begins with an advance organizer which sets the stage for
the selection. Students use this tool to prepare for the particular
reading so they can get the most out of it. Practice opportunities are
then provided through a variety of targeted exercises and activities
that reinforce concepts before students move on to further learning.

mini-book which helps students practice and apply what they have
